The Society for DV-Xメ Japan was established in 1988 and an annual meeting has been held every summer since then. The International Workshops on DV-Xメ have been held four times in Hungary (1996), South Korea (1998), Japan (2001), South Korea (2006) and Japan (2008) as well.

The DV-Xメ Organizing Committee 2010 kindly invites you to attend to the International COnference on DV-Xメ method will take place at DaeJeon, Korea on Aug 4-6, 2010. The location of the conference will be at the Korea Basic Science Institute in the DaeJeon.

The Discrete Variational Xメ(DV-Xメ) molecular orbital calculation method is one of the most versatile methods for estimating the electronic structures of atom-aggregates or clusters at both ground and excited states. The DV-Xメ molecular orbital calculation has been well known as one of the most appropriate methods for calculating the electronic states for substances composed of not only of light elements but also heavy metal elements.

Also, the DV-Xメ method has been extensively used for solid-state chemistry and physics, materials science, and electron- and X-ray spectroscopy with great success. We would appreciate your attendance at the meeting and look forward to your presentations regarding research on Molecules, Particles, Crystals, Glasses, Metals, Semiconductors, Surface, Boundary, Defects from view of Physics, Organic, Inorganic Chemistry, Materials Science and Spectroscopy by DV-Xメ itself or the related experiments and theories.

It assembles a spectrum of affiliated research conferences, workshops, symposiums and panels into a coordinated research meeting held in a common place at common time.
